Geonode overview
Budget residential provider with adequate quality. A good backup or starter for new projects.
Pros and cons
+ Strengths
- One of the cheapest residential offers — from $1.40/GB
- 24/7 support + 2 GB free trial
- Transparent pricing without hidden caps
− Limitations
- Smaller pool than the leaders (20M vs 100M+)
- API documentation could be more detailed
Good fit for: scraping and price monitoring at moderate and large volumes, where the price per gigabyte matters more than pool size.
Not for: jobs that need millions of addresses in one city, or long stable sessions on mobile IPs.
What it is
Geonode sells residential proxies on subscription with unused traffic rolling over, plus rotating datacenter proxies. It does not chase a record pool size and openly states 7.5M+ addresses active each month in 150+ countries. A sticky session can last up to 24 hours, though the IP changes earlier if the device goes offline.
Pricing and terms (October 2026)
- Subscription: 10 GB for $7.92 a month ($0.79/GB), around $0.50/GB from 100 GB, down to $0.27/GB at the largest volumes.
- Unused traffic carries over for as long as the subscription is active.
- Trial: $5 for 10 GB over 3 days, after which it converts into a paid subscription.
- Payment: cards, PayPal, crypto.
Worth knowing
The trial turns into a subscription automatically, so if the service does not suit you, cancel before the three days are up. Figures on the individual country pages disagree with the main page (different pool sizes and session lengths), so go by the main pricing page. With a smaller pool, narrow geo-targeting can run out of addresses sooner than on the large providers.
Who should buy it
Geonode works well as a main or backup residential pool for scraping, SEO monitoring and price checks once volumes run to tens of gigabytes. For multi-accounting, where the reputation of every address matters, NodeMaven is the better pick; for maximum coverage, look at Bright Data or Oxylabs.
