01 /ProxyShard overview

ProxyShard — is a mobile provider with a pool of 80M+ (vendor-stated). .

What sets ProxyShard apart from competitors:

  • Four proxy types — residential, datacenter, ISP and mobile — from a single dashboard, unusual at this price point
  • Residential at $2/GB pay-as-you-go, plus a $30/day unlimited plan quoted at up to 5000 concurrent connections
  • Datacenter and ISP sold exclusively to one buyer rather than shared, so the IP reputation history starts with you
  • p0f profile switching on datacenter, ISP and mobile, with manual SSL/TLS fingerprint control on datacenter — rare outside enterprise tiers
  • Region, city and ISP targeting on residential, and UDP alongside HTTP/SOCKS5 on most products

− Limitations

  • Not yet benchmarked by PROXYDECK — no success rate, no score, no ranking position
  • Pool size is vendor-stated and unaudited: the site headlines 80M+ IPs while the per-country figures it publishes add up to roughly 2M
  • Third-party listings quote 50M+ IPs across 160+ countries, contradicting the vendor's own 80M+ and 100+
  • Company location and founding year are not published anywhere we could confirm
  • No advertised free trial and no stated crypto payment — crypto appears only as a use case, a trial only inside a customer testimonial
Status: in testing. ProxyShard is new to the catalog. This page exists so you can find the service and see what it claims — it is not a verdict. Every figure here is the vendor's own published specification, not a PROXYDECK measurement. We do not assign a score or a ranking position until a provider has run on our benchmark stack, and this one has not.

What ProxyShard sells

Four proxy types from one dashboard: residential, datacenter, ISP and mobile. That breadth at the low end of the market is why we picked it up for testing — most providers at this price cover one or two.

Residential is quoted at $2/GB pay-as-you-go across 100+ countries, over HTTP and SOCKS5, with targeting down to region, city and ISP. The $30/day unlimited plan is the more interesting number: it adds UDP and up to 5000 concurrent connections, and only pays off above roughly 15 GB/day, so it suits sustained crawls rather than ad-hoc work.

Datacenter starts at $1.20/month per IP and ISP at $2/month, both sold exclusively to one buyer rather than shared — the IP's reputation history starts with you, which matters more than headline price on targets that score IP history. Mobile starts at $4/day. The vendor quotes up to 10 Gbps on datacenter and ISP.

The part worth noticing

ProxyShard advertises p0f profile switching on datacenter, ISP and mobile: on mobile and ISP the device fingerprint can be rotated to match a fresh antidetect browser profile, and on datacenter you can set the SSL/TLS fingerprint by hand alongside IP rotation. Control at that layer is normally an enterprise feature, and it is the single thing here that is not simply cheaper than the incumbents. Whether it holds up against real fingerprinting defences is exactly what a bench run has to answer.

What we have not established

Everything that matters most. We have not measured success rate on real targets, session stability under load, how the pool behaves on hard e-commerce or SERP destinations, or whether support answers.

The pool figure deserves particular caution. The site headlines 80M+ IPs, but the per-country numbers it publishes on the same page — Germany 511,042, USA 344,348, Romania 305,776, Turkey 210,109 and six more — add up to about two million. Those are presumably a sample rather than the whole network, but the headline itself is unaudited. Third-party listings muddy it further by quoting 50M+ IPs across 160+ countries, which contradicts the vendor's own 80M+ and 100+. We report the conflict rather than pick a side.

We also could not confirm where the company is based or when it was founded — neither is published anywhere we could verify, which is worth knowing before routing production traffic through it. There is no advertised free trial: a trial appears only in a customer testimonial. Crypto is named as a use case, not as a payment method.

Who should look at it now

If you are price-sensitive, comfortable evaluating a provider yourself, and want one vendor across four proxy types — or you specifically want the fingerprint controls — ProxyShard is worth a small paid test of your own. The pay-as-you-go entry makes that cheap. If you need a proven success rate on a specific target, wait for our numbers.
